Fun trivia: Eowyn was supposed to be who Aragorn married. She was in fact his bride in early drafts. However, Tolkein became so enamored with her that he instead hooked her up with Faramir (his author-avatar in the series), and rewrote Aragorn’s background to leave him with Arwen (whom he added to the story in later revisions strictly for this purpose). womenfighters: This one was submitted by the artist himself, Craig Spearing. I would’ve stayed home, I tell you what. Arwen was just some elf-princess with daddy issues. Should’ve gotten with a real woman, Aragorn. Boner move, there.
